Register Now for Medical Assisting Program
In response to a regional need for medical assistants, A-B Tech will offer a Medical Assisting degree starting with the fall semester.
Classes begin Oct. 14. Students who are interested in enrolling in the program should complete an A-B Tech application for admission. Applications will be accepted through Oct. 8, and students will be notified about their acceptance status by Oct. 13. An orientation to the program is scheduled Oct. 13. A-B Tech, the community’s college, is dedicated to student success. One of 58 colleges in the North Carolina Community College System, A-B Tech offers associate degrees, diplomas or certificates in more than 50 curriculum programs through its four academic divisions – Allied Health and Public Service Education, Arts and Sciences, Business and Hospitality Education, and Engineering and Applied Technology. A fifth division, Continuing Education, offers opportunities for specific job training and retraining, basic skills education, and personal interest courses for individual enrichment.
