Effective September 15, 2009, VCA forms will be phased out by the Financial Aid Office! The Financial Aid Department has streamlined the way we process student aid disbursements. We will no longer need to collect instructors' signatures on a VCA form or have electronic instructor signatures for online classes for financial aid students.
Please note: This only pertains to financial aid students. Third party and VA students are still required to meet signature requirements for aid verification.
Financial Aid is going green for the 2009-2010 school year and we are sending Award Notifications electronically so that we can save paper and reduce costs. Award notifications will be sent to the students A-B Tech email account and can be viewed in Web Advisor. Scroll down to Understanding Your Financial Aid Award Notification below for more information.
Upcoming Deadlines
If you are applying for loans for the Fall semester after November 13, 2009, the loan funds would not be available until February. We are still accepting applications for the Spring semester 2010. If you are planning on applying for a Stafford Loan, please come by the financial aid office.
How To Find Us
The Financial Aid Office is located in the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Center on A-B Tech's main campus. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pre-loan Counseling Information
Students who have submitted Stafford loan applications to our financial aid office must complete pre-loan counseling before they can receive their loan disbursement.

Financial Aid Mission Statement
The Financial Aid Office exists to serve students by reducing the financial barriers to educational goals. We accomplish this through:
