Resume Writing
A good resume is an essential tool for finding a job. To get started, pick up a free copy of the Cover Letters, Resumes and References pamphlet in the Career Center. The Career Center also has DVDs and videos on writing good cover letters and resumes. We suggest you call X209 to let a counselor know you would be interested in stopping by the Career Center. You may use the computers in the Career Center or the Learning Resource Center to create and print your resume; just be sure to save your drafts on your own backup device.
If you would like your resume critiqued by one of the career counselors you can make an appointment by clicking the link to the left. Bring the printed draft of your resume and an electronic version for editing to your appointment.
