Know Your Password
Initial Password
Your initial password is your date of birth in this format: MMDDYY. Please note that leading zeroes should be included, i.e. June = 06, the year 2001 = 01, the fifth day of the month = 05.
Example: for date of birth 06/17/1989 the password would be 061789.
Problems with Password
In the event your date of birth is incorrect in your computer record you can still get your password.
- Click “Online Payment Login” located at the bottom of this page.
- On the login screen select the MAIN MENU tab.
- Click ‘What’s my password’.
- If this is your first attempt to login select ‘I’m new to WebAdvisor, setup my password’. Follow the steps to get your user ID, select your A-B Tech e-mail account and have your temporary password sent to that e-mail account.

If you already know your user ID you may select “I don’t remember, reset my password” to have your password reset and sent to your e-mail account.
The first time you log in you will have to change your password.
- Re-enter your user ID.
- Enter your password that you just used.
- Enter a new password. It must be between 6 and 9 characters long and have at least one number. It must not be the same as your previous password.
- Enter the new password again to confirm it.
- Enter a password hint. This is optional but may be useful in the future.
- Click Submit. You will return to the WebAdvisor main page. The welcome message should include your name, indicating that you are logged in.
Your student online account and email are created within one business day after your application, placement testing, or initial registration. Once you access and set up the accounts they will be available for use in following terms. If you are a returning student who attended prior to summer 2007 you may not have an account until your advisor creates a student education plan for you in WebAdvisor or you come to campus and register for a class in person.
