BCT Student Expo

The purpose of the BCT Expo is to showcase portfolios of graduating students from the Computer Information Technology, Digital Media Technologies and Web Technologies programs. Many of the student will be showing their capstone projects from their programs including databases, spreadsheets, web design and development, print, audio/video and interactive design. Refreshments will also be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the programs, or recruit a graduating student for your business.

Omega Alpha Epsilon Chapter

The purpose of this chapter shall be to further the goals of Phi Beta Lambda within the state of North Carolina. This chapter shall provide opportunities for post-secondary and college students to develop competencies for business and the educational world. Phi Beta Lambda is an integral part of the instructional program and in addition promotes a sense of civic personal responsibility.

Professional/National Organization

URTV - www.urtv.org
The new local public access station. Just opened it's doors in July 2006. They offer membership and free classes to those interesting in producing, shooting and editing videos or programming to be shown on the URTV station.

The MAP - www.themap.org
The Media Arts Project cultivates innovative arts & technology in western North Carolina. The MAP provides exhibition programming, professional development, outreach, and education. They are driven by the belief that the media arts are integral to the vibrant cultural and economic life of the region.
