Tutoring Philosophy

Computer lab tutors in the Business and Hospitality Education Division are dedicated to student success.  Peer tutors are currently enrolled students who work part time in our computer labs.  They must maintain a satisfactory grade point average and demonstrate technical proficiency with basic computer concepts. They provide technical assistance to currently enrolled students completing course assignments.  Tutors assist with the mechanics of popular software packages and they help students with technical problems.  Although peer tutors are instructed not to do homework for students, they can be an invaluable resource for AB Tech students who need extra help with computer-related questions.  We invite you to visit our labs and get to know our peer tutors.
