Michael Aanonson
I am 23 years old and have been working in the Culinary industry for six years. I am very interested in sustainable agriculture. I enjoy cooking fresh, local food for my family and friends. I am currently attending A-B Tech for my Associates degree in Culinary Technology. When I graduate, I hope to travel and cook regional foods around the country.
Anna McClintock
I am a 20 year old senior student in the Culinary Technology program at A-B Tech. I moved to North Carolina 14 years ago from Pennsylvania. When I am not cooking or studying, I enjoy playing trumpet and cornet, and giving trumpet lessons. I train for local running races and hope to enter a marathon. I have discovered many things about food and myself, while being a part of a team.
Steven Goff
I am 28 years old, and will be graduating from the A-B Tech Culinary program this coming Spring. I intend on starting the Baking and Pastry Arts program in the Fall of 2009. My interests include wine, charcuterie, and vegetarian cooking.
Shannon Ginn
I love food as an art form, and as a learning experience. I enjoy the discipline of being on the Culinary team, and pushing my limits. I am a graduate of the A-B Tech Culinary program, and currently enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts program. I would like to broaden my knowledge through travel and apprenticeship.
Travis McCloud
I am 24 years old and from Butler Tennessee. I have always been interested in food and cooking, especially Appalachian cuisine. I never thought of cooking as a career choice until four years ago, when I started working in the restaurant industry. I wanted to better myself with a degree in Culinary Technology and will be graduating this year.
