How do I register for class?
You have 3 options when registering for a continuing education class.

What classes do you offer?
We have many courses to offer within Continuing Education,
click here to view current classes. Schedules are
mailed to all residents of Buncombe and Madison county. If you live
outside of this area or did not receive a schedule, please call 254-1921 Ext.
5826 to request a printed schedule.What tuition exemptions are available for Continuing Education classes?
Students may participate in A-B Tech Continuing Education classes without
paying a registration fee if:
- They are a fulltime A-B Tech employee
- They are a NC Resident age 65 or older
- They are a NC Resident and are a member of:
- Volunteer and Paid Fire Department Personnel
- Paid Law Enforcement Officers (including BLET)
- Volunteer and Paid Rescue and Life Saving Department Personnel
- Military Personnel (Including NC Militia)
These rules apply only if the course is not designated as a "No
Fee Exemption" class
How can I get a transcript?
Continuing education transcripts can be requested by calling 254-1921, Ext.
5803
or via email to scordell@abtech.edu

Where is the bookstore?
Continuing education books can be purchased at the Asheville, Enka or
Madison Campus
bookstore. The Asheville bookstore is in the Coman Student Center
building. The Enka Campus bookstore is located in the registration
office of the Haynes building. The Madison bookstore is located in
their main lobby. Books will only be available for Madison Campus
classes at the Madison campus bookstore. Click here for

What are the bookstore hours?
The Enka campus bookstore is open Mon-Thu from 9:00 AM-7:00 PM, and Friday from
9:00 AM-4:30 PM. The Asheville campus bookstore is open Mon-Thu from 8:30
AM-7:00 PM,
and Friday from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. The Madison campus bookstore is
open 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Mon-Thu, and Fridays
from 8:30 AM-4:00 PM.
