Nursing Assistant

To be eligible for admission to the Fall 2010 Associate Degree Nursing and Practical Nursing programs, applicants will be required to hold a documented current credential as a Nurse Aide I from the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation and provide a Certificate of Completion from a state approved Nurse Aide training program or a transcript showing satisfactory completion of a state approved Nurse Aide training program by January 29, 2010. Classes fill up very quickly. Class size is limited to 20 students. Madison Campus class size is limited to 10 students. Our next registration for Spring 2010 Nurse Aide I Classes will be held on the Enka Campus December 2, 2009. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM on a first come, first serve basis. Both Day (8:30-3 PM) and Evening (5-8PM or 6-9pm depending on choice) classes will be available. Offered classes will be on our Asheville, Enka, and Goodwill campuses. Depending on class choice, the classes are set to begin approximately mid January 2010. Be sure to check our information line (828) 254-1921 Ex 7600 for updated registration information.
