Hospitality Education Chair Bronwen McCormick shares information about teaching at A-B Tech with an Adjunct Fair attendee.
The Human Resources office sponsored an Adjunct Job Fair to help fill part-time instructor positions at the College in the instructional and Continuing Education divisions.
Two information sessions were held April 10 in Ferguson Auditorium. Each session began with a presentation by College leaders, followed by an opportunity to visit with representatives from each instructional division and Continuing Education in the lobby.
"There were 35 attendees in the first session and about 18 in the second session," said Lori Berman, employment specialist. "Overall, the consensus is that it went very well. The evaluation feedback was great. I know that many of the divisions made some good contacts and even if they can't use these folks now, they have some contacts for the future. I think a lot of attendees will spread the word because they got an idea of A-B Tech and had a good feeling about what we are doing here."
