First Responders Learn Defensive Tactics

Madison County EMS and Madison County volunteer firefighters practice their defensive tactics in a class that teaches how to prevent personal injury when responding to calls that involve violent injured persons, or if a co-worker is attacked. The class emphasized that the students were not law enforcement personnel and their goal is to try to subdue or get away from the violent person.
