Welcome, New Employees

The College welcomes four full-time employees who have accepted staff and faculty positions over the past month.

Jun Wen, Institutional Research analyst, received her B.S. from Xiangtan University, China, and an M.S. from South China University of Technology, Guangdong, China, and an M.S. from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND. She has been a graduate teaching assistant at North Dakota State University, a research assistant at South China Botanic Garden in Guangdong, China, and a graduate research assistant at the South China University of Technology.

Carol Douglas, Student Success advocate, earned her B.S. from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo., and her teaching licensure from UNC Asheville. She has been an adjunct instructor at A-B Tech for the past five years, and has been a GED instructor at Cane Creek Middle School. She had various part-time and interim teaching and tutoring positions in the region for seven years.

Sarah A. Schober, BioNetwork Technical Specialist, earned her A.S., A.A., and A.A.S. from A-B Tech. She has served as a work study/part-time manager for Biotechnology, an adjunct instructor, office assistant, student notetaker and bookstore associate for A-B Tech. She was a lead delivery service representative for Office Depot, a substitute teacher for Opportunity Corporation, and an office manager for Valhalla Engineering in Amherst Junction, Wis.

Shanna Thomas-Hough, Student Success advocate, earned a B.A. from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. and will receive an M.A. from Troy University in Troy, Ala., in May. She was a sales and residence life manager for Campus Crest Inc., an area director for Spellman College in Atlanta, and residential counselor supervisor at University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C.
