Communications Office Wins Marketing Awards
A silver award went to "Be Here," the 2008-2009 Student Handbook and Calendar designed by Justin Page.
"Sustaining Success," the 2005-2006 President's Report, created by Director of Communications Mona Cornwell, Communications Specialist Martha Ball, Page and Designer April Sides, received a bronze award.
A series of postcards called "Begin at A-B Tech," created by Sides and Page, earned a bronze award.
The A-B Tech Communications Office recently earned three Medallion Awards in National Council for Marketing and Public Relations' District 2 competition.

An affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR represents more than 1,500 marketing and public relations professionals from nearly 600 colleges across the United States, Canada and other countries. District 2 is comprised of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, the Bahamas and Bermuda.
