A-B Tech Celebrates Earth Day

Earth Day crowds

Faculty, staff and students turned out to enjoy the beautiful weather, food and camaraderie at the College's Seventh Annual Earth Day celebration. Sponsored by the Student Government Association, the celebration centers on raising awareness for a cleaner environment, promoting opportunities for volunteer stewardship and presentations of environmentally friendly resources.

 
Dennis King dunked by Annie Clingenpeel

Dr. Dennis King, Student Services vice president, gets dunked by Annie Clingenpeel, Disability Services coordinator, in the Phi Theta Kappa Relay for Life dunk tank. The team raised a total of $364 for the American Cancer Society at the Earth Day festivities.

 
SGA receives portable BBQ from Welding

Charlie Farmer, Welding Technology instructor, presented a portable BBQ to the Student Government Association for A-B Tech clubs to use.
