Electronics Engineering Technology

Objectives:

The A-B Tech Electronics program will prepare graduates to work in entry-level positions in many diverse areas of modern electronics. The program will build a strong foundation in electronics and acquaint students with circuits and specialized skills demanded by this career field. The program will stress classroom theory followed by hands-on laboratory experiments that will assist them in developing the ability to quickly grasp particular requirements of this ever-changing technology.

Career Opportunities:

Electronics technicians are in demand in the fields of electronics, instrumentation, communications, computer technology and telecommunications.

Rapid growth continues as consumer, medical, industrial and military systems rely on advanced technology.

Graduates may secure entry-level employment in such fields in positions such as a test technician, electronics technician, field service representative, and computer technician.
