Scholarships

Before applying for scholarships online:

• Enroll as a student at A-B Tech. Visit www.abtech.edu/apply or visit the Admissions Office, located in the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Center on the Asheville Campus, to fill out an application.
• Declare a major. Visit the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Center to see an academic advisor and declare your major. For information about the programs offered at A-B Tech, visit www.abtech.edu/programs.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Visit www.fafsa.edu.gov to complete online or visit the Financial Aid Office in the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Center for assistance. The A-B Tech school code is 004033.

Reference Letter Guidelines

In addition to the online application, three(3) letters of reference are required. Reference letters should be in sealed envelopes with the reference's signature on the back flap and applicant's clearly marked on each, and be mailed/delivered together.

Deliver reference letters to:

Leronica Casey, second floor of the Fernihurst Building

or

Put in the drop box located the Fernihurst Building.

Scholarship list is updated frequently and should be checked for the latest information often.

Scholarship recipients are chosen by Scholarship Committees with faculty representatives and the Foundation Board of Directors.
