Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the A-B Tech Madison Campus serves residents of three counties as well as parts of eastern Tennessee.

The Madison Campus is a full-service campus. Students may apply to the college, take the placement test (CPT), receive advising for curriculum programs, register and pay tuition for Curriculum/Continuing Education classes, obtain text books, prepare and test for GED, or enroll in a wide variety of Continuing Education classes for personal enrichment or job enhancement.

Location: Off U.S. 25-70 in Marshall. It serves the residents of Madison, north Buncombe, and Yancey Counties, as well as areas of eastern Tennessee.

Highlights: Curriculum enrollment is up for the Fall semester. The total is now at 215 students.

Madison County JobLink Career Center (located on Campus) provides job seekers and employers free access to a variety of employment and training services (JobLink-Madison@abtech.edu).

GED enrollment is up, as well as the number of instructors and hours offered. The campus has now included GED testing.

Students and members of the community repeatedly tell the staff and instructors how thankful they are that A-B Tech provides classes and testing in Madison County.

There is constant feedback from students and members of the community about the high caliber of the staff and instructors. "We are proud of the job our instructors (and staff members) do," says Buckner. "They are so professional and accommodating to students and visitors alike."
