Why can't I change my email address in Blackboard?
The problem with allowing people to change their email address in Blackboard is that many email addresses are incorrect or missing. This has created many difficulties for instructors and students. The only solution is to ensure that all Blackboard email addresses are student A-B Tech addresses (ending in @students.abtech.edu). This ensures that instructors can send email to ALL students from Blackboard with no problems, and also that students know where to check for A-B Tech email.
If you prefer, you can configure your A-B Tech email account to forward to your personal email address.
