Program/Faculty Advisors

What Is a Program/Faculty Advisor?

Program/faculty advisors assist students who are enrolled in specific academic programs. These advisors set up educational plans before each semester to help guide students through their program of study.

Who is My Program/Faculty Advisor?

Students who have enrolled in programs can determine who their advisor is by visiting the Program Advisor Information page and selecting the division that their program is under and finding their academic program in the list. For more information, you can call (828) 398-7900, or email info@abtech.edu.

Students enrolled in College Transfer Programs (Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Fine Arts) are either assigned a specific faculty advisor or assigned to the Program Advising Center. They can use the Program Advising online appointment scheduler to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor or the Program Advising Center.

Students enrolled in Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.), Diploma, and Certificate programs are assigned a faculty advisor, who is also an instructor.
