Cosmetology continues to have a 100% pass rate for licensure exams. This includes those who have graduated and sat for their exams amidst the pandemic.
Radiography has had a 100 percent pass rate since the class of 2005. Chair Angie Goodwin was able to share other pass rates from area schools:
- South College 78%
- Caldwell CC 78%
- Southwestern 94%
- Cleveland 80%
- UNC 97%
- National Average 89%
Medical Laboratory Technology and Phlebotomy had a 100% passing rate. The required minimum passing score is 400, and the highest possible attainable score is 999. A-B Tech’s average in MLT was 670, while the national average is 52,0 with an 83% pass rate. The phlebotomy average was 671, with the national average of 555 and a pass rate of 91%.
There have been 18 Motorcycle Safety classes since July 11, six more than last year during the same period. Motorcycle Safety accounted for 59% of Community Enrichment Programs' net revenue (164 students) since July.
