Logging Into Microsoft 365 (Office 365)®
To log into your student email account:
- Visit outlook.office365.com.
- Enter email address.
Type your full A-B Tech student email address (your A-B Tech username + "@students.abtech.edu", e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org) and navigate to "Next."
- Enter password.
If you are a new student and have not changed your password from its default:
Type your default A-B Tech password and navigate to "Sign in." You will be asked to change your password. Your new password will not be allowed if it is too short (less than eight characters), too common, or known to be dangerous. Visit the Password Reset page for more information.
If you have already changed your password:
Type your A-B Tech password (i.e. the one you use for Self-Service/Moodle/WebAdvisor) and navigate to "Sign in."
- Set your region to "United States and -5 East Coast" (if you have not done so already).
Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password online.
If you are already logged in to another Microsoft email account on your computer, you may experience issues when you attempt to log in. Try using a different web browser or opening an Incognito tab in Chrome (Ctrl + Shift + N), a Private tab in Firefox/Edge (Ctrl + Shift + P), or a Private tab in Safari if you're on a Mac (⌘ + Shift + N).
Note: As of May 2018, student email accounts are accessed through Microsoft Outlook, not Gmail.
