This month, the RISE Spotlight salutes a group of people who helped with an after-hours emergency at A-B Tech Enka, who were able to prevent classroom closures with their actions.
A pipe had burst in room 106 of the Technology Commercialization Center, with five rooms and two restrooms impacted by water. Campus police first spotted the water, and Budd Group started cleaning up immediately. Police Chief Kara Walker noted the following people rose to the challenge and showed dedication:

- Officer Randy Ratcliff
- Officer Robin Lunsford
