A-B Tech students received merit scholarships through the North Carolina Computer Instruction Association during its annual conference on March 7-9 Craven Community College. The NCCIA was established in 1994 to meet the needs of training and sharing information related to computer technology. Out of seven monetary student scholarships available, A-B Tech students were awarded four of them.
Lisa Mulder received the McGraw-Hill Scholarship for $1,000.
Janine Paris received the Annelle Pegg Memorial Scholarship for $750.
Christian Helms, who also attended the conference, received the David Harris Memorial Scholarship for $750.
Amanda Costandine received a $300 Paradigm Publishing Scholarship.
