Grade I and Grade II Biological Wastewater Operator training courses at A-B Tech will start February 22, 2019.
Water pollution control facilities collect and treat contaminated water to prevent large-scale pollution from destroying our river, streams, lakes, and oceans. North Carolina is home to more than 1,000 facilities that collect and clean water for discharge or re-use. Each of these facilities is required to have a Certified Water Pollution Control Systems Operator on staff.
Classes will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays from February 22 to April 19 on the Asheville campus. At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate of completion for both Grade I and Grade II Biological Waste Water Operator training course. Completers may then apply to sit for the June 13 Operator Certification Exam.
