Available Classes

Learn to organize and analyze data using Microsoft Excel through hands-on exercises and examples.

Level 1

This course provides all the tools necessary to create and use basic spreadsheets. You will receive an overview of the interface and learn the various methods for entering and editing data. Additionally, you will learn the various ways to write basic formulas, as well as organizing, sorting, filtering, formatting, and summarizing data.

Level 2

Up the ante on your Excel skills by learning the more complex functions Excel has to offer, including LOOKUPS, ARRAYS, and nested formulas. Summarize, group, and display your data using charts, graphs, and tables. This course will also cover the incredible functionality of Pivot Tables, as well as time-saving formatting and validation features, and much, much more.

The Expert OJT® Workshop teaches you how to build a complete, structured OJT program. Designed for anyone — supervisors, trainers, and non-trainers who need to write job aids, or train others. No previous training or job aid writing experience required.

Sessions will be held on A-B Tech Main Campus in the Advanced Manufacturing Center building in room 203:

Learn how to use Microsoft PowerPoint to create, edit, and share professional-looking presentations.  Participants will learn and practice:

  • How to get started with PowerPoint templates and themes or build a new presentation from scratch.
  • How to change the slide layout; add and edit text, images, charts, video, and animation; format slides for consistency, and add speaker notes and comments to ensure a smooth delivery.
  • How to collaborate on changes and share presentations with others.
  • How to use the PowerPoint tools and follow a few simple design rules to draw attention to your message and deliver a professional presentation.
