This scholarship is provided to students enrolled in any two-year Engineering Technology program. Other qualifications include a 2.0 GPA; being enrolled full-time; demonstrating a financial need by completing the FAFSA. Preference will be given to Enka High School graduates. Southeastern Container, Inc. (SEC), formed by a group of independent Coca-Cola bottlers to produce their own PET packaging needs in the early ’80s, has grown to be one of the world’s largest and most respected PET processors. With corporate offices located just outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Enka, SEC has grown from a single manufacturing location in 1982 to a world leader in the industry sector.
The scholarship application process for Foundation scholarships begins January – April.
