This scholarship was established in 2015 by members of the Central United Methodist Church in loving memory of Suzanne "Shorty" Short, a quadriplegic who worked hard to become an accomplished mouth artist. Suzanne was known for her amazing artwork, positive attitude, vibrant spirit, and love of God and humanity. Qualifications include: a minimum GPA of 2.0; enrolled in any curriculum program; resident of Buncombe or Madison counties.
The scholarship application process for Foundation scholarships begins January – April.
