This scholarship was established in memory of Samuel Barnes (1869-1957). Sam Barnes was the first greenskeeper at the Biltmore Forest Country Club and the Biltmore House. The scholarship is provided to minority students enrolled in any curriculum program.
The scholarship application process for Foundation scholarships begins January – April.
