Pots are not always round! In this intermediate wheel-throwing class, explore a playful approach to making pots while learning techniques such as paddling and darting to create functional vessels with your own unique style. You must be comfortable centering and throwing clay independently.
Moving past cups and bowls to explore more complicated techniques. Lids, bottles, vases and larger vessels are just some of the things we explore in this class. Prerequisite: Students should feel confident centering 1.5 - 2 lbs. of clay. The lab fee includes one bag of clay, glazes and firing.
