It is important for the student to maintain a professional attitude when in the presence of other students, staff, program faculty, health care providers, clients, and families. Use of profane or obscene language will not be permitted during any nursing class/lab activity.
All nursing courses are web-enhanced through the A-B Tech learning management system. Students must have access to a computer and are expected to check Moodle and student email daily for updated course information, assignments, inclement weather, schedule changes, and attendance records.
Safety is our highest priority. Class & lab doors will be locked at the beginning, and during class. Class & lab rooms will not be opened until the break. Therefore, if a student is not in class/lab on time, they will not be allowed into the classroom until the next break.
Students can learn about school closings from the A-B Tech website, campus switchboard, TV/radio announcements, or campus text.
