Advanced Manufacturing Center Pre-Apprenticeship Program
A-B Tech’s pre-apprenticeship program for Asheville High School prepares students with hands-on skills and real-world experience to succeed in advanced manufacturing careers. Students are able to:
- Train in High Tech Advanced Manufacturing at A-B Tech and step into careers with huge growth potential.
- Advance fast: Move up to leadership and tech roles.
- Earn Continuing Education credit while experiencing authentic college life.
- Connect with and meet local manufacturers across various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, science, healthcare, industrial, materials, metals and plastics, food, beverage, and brewing, packaging and containers, as well as specialty and lifestyle products.
- Stay in demand: Manufacturers across WNC are hiring now.
- Learn about Production Design, Process Design, Quality Assurance, Production, Distribution/Inventory, and Customer Support.
