Payments:
Credit card payment is required when registering for Continuing Education classes online. You may use MasterCard, VISA, or American Express. If you prefer to use cash or a check, you may register by mail or in person. View CE Registration Office: Location, Hours, & Payment Options.
Refunds:
- If a student officially withdraws prior to the first class meeting, the student will receive a 100% refund; Motorcycle Safety is excluded.
- If a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, a student will receive a 100% refund.
- A 75% refund will be issued (Self-Supporting classes with prefixes CSP and SEF are excluded) if the student officially withdraws prior to or on the 10% point of the scheduled hours of the class.
- No refund will be made after the 10% point of the class.
- The insurance, technology, and supply/lab fees are refundable only if a class is canceled or the student drops before the class begins.
- Refunds are processed on the 1st and 15th of each month.

This course is designed to help students review the National Electric Code (NEC) in preparation for the NC Electrical Contractors Exam. It is also beneficial for Code Enforcement officials and others who want to know more about the National Electric Code. This course will cover current code, calculations, wiring, motors, transformers, low and high voltage along with practice questions for the exam. Course designed to provide individuals with the required knowledge, tools, and resources to become recognized as a certified Community Health Worker (CHW) in North Carolina. Instruction covers nine core competencies essential to working as a certified CHW including communication, capacity building, service, coordination, interpersonal, advocacy, outreach, and personal/professional skills. Knowledge-based competencies include health and social issues that disproportionately impact clients. Class meets virtually via Zoom once a week, with additional online assignments and self-paced work per week.
