Discover your passion by sampling the myriad of skills available through the Advanced Manufacturing Center! This week-long course offers an introduction to robotics, machine shop, Computer Numerical Control (CNC), 3D printing, composites, and industrial sewing. Curriculum will cover the basic and technical skills needed to prepare students for advanced, high-performance manufacturing environments, as well as explores how these skills are applied in areas ranging from prosthetics, bicycles, and vehicular accessories to art installments, home accents and garments. Course topics may include safety, quality practices & measurement, manufacturing processes & production, maintenance awareness, and green production.
