Enter the world of construction prepared with several Nationally Recognized Credentials. The construction industry offers a variety of career opportunities from skilled craftspersons to supervisors to business owners. Students who attend this class will gain the skills and certifications necessary to obtain work with contracting companies as entry-level employees. This class includes OHSA 10, Forklift Safety and Operation and the NCCER Core Curriculum Certification. The NCCER Curriculum introduces students to construction math, hand and power tools, construction drawings, rigging, material handling and techniques to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
