Water pollution control facilities collect and treat contaminated water to prevent large-scale pollution from destroying our rivers, streams, lakes, and oceans. There are numerous employment opportunities in this challenging and rewarding field. This training is for individuals interested in entering the wastewater profession. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate of completion for both Grades I and II Biological Waste Water Operator training course. The attendees may then apply, for an additional fee, to sit for the NCDEQ December 2022 Operator Certification Exam.
Class is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays from Sept. 8 until Oct. 17. The cost $192 and includes textbook.
