A local college is helping small business owners and entrepreneurs get resources they need during a time of crisis.
On Tuesday, more than 100 people attended a webinar through Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. It was put on by the college’s Small Business Center in conjunction with the North Carolina Small Business Center.
The webinars give people who own businesses a chance to learn how to navigate issues related to the coronavirus.
Tuesday’s webinar focused on what documents entrepreneurs need before applying for one of the many loans available to them.
"We have a long history of helping folks work through that and provide them with quick info and help them. We’re all in this together. And we’re here to help them, hold their hand throughout the entire process," A-B Tech Small Business Center executive director Jill Sparks said.
