Female Specific

This scholarship is awarded to an African-American female who is a resident of WNC, preferably 25 years of age or older.

This scholarship is provided to female students enrolled in any Engineering Technology program. Preference given to Madison County residents.

This scholarship was established in 2009 by members of Womansong of Asheville, Inc., and Asheville’s largest and oldest women’s chorus. This scholarship is awarded to female students.

This scholarship was established in memory of James A. Helmer, musician, artist, naturalist, and lifelong learner. It is provided to first-year female students enrolled in any curriculum or certificate program.

The GEM Fund (Gaining Educational Momentum) was established by members of the Asheville branch of the American Association of University Women.
