Perks
Student Business Incubator Program
The Student Business Incubator Program is a 12-month extracurricular activity designed to provide a nurturing, supportive environment to A-B Tech students who want to start their own businesses and guide them toward becoming sustainable, contributing members of a strong economic community. Any A-B Tech student who is carrying a minimum of six semester hours, and will continue to do so for the duration of the program may apply. Students interested in participating in this program must submit an application and go through a selection process where they are expected to interview and present a preliminary business plan. Up to five student-run businesses are admitted at a time, through a rolling admission process (no deadline) each year. Applications for the Student Business Incubator Program are accepted at any time.
For more information about the Student Business Incubator Program, visit Program Information, or contact Duane Adams, Associate Director, (828) 398-7951, duanecadams@abtech.edu.
