Credit card payment is required when registering for Continuing Education classes online. You may use MasterCard, VISA, or American Express. If you prefer to use cash or a check, you may register by mail or in person. View CE Registration Office: Location, Hours, & Payment Options.

Continuing Education Refund Policy

  • If a student officially withdraws prior to the first class meeting, the student will receive a 100% refund; Motorcycle Safety excluded.
  • If a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, a student will receive a 100% refund;
  • A 75% refund will be issued (Self-Supporting classes with prefixes CSP and SEF are excluded) if the student officially withdraws prior to or on the 10% point of the scheduled hours of the class.
  • No refund will be made after the 10% point of the class.
  • The insurance, technology, and supply/lab fees are refundable only if a class is canceled or the student drops before the class begins.
  • Refunds are processed on the 1st and 15th of each month.

Looking for a painting class for beginners where you learn basic painting techniques while exploring your creative side? Acrylic paints are vibrant, easy to use and lend themselves to beautiful spontaneous effects. You will explore color mixing and blend colors, create a range of different textures and brush strokes, and paint from photographs orobjects to capture dimension. You will be amazed at what you can do. Bring two 9"x12" canvas boards to the first class and a few brushes. A complete list of materials will be provided the first day.

This class is all about the image. Photography is art and practice of creating images by recording light. Bring any kind of camera; DSLR, Mirrorless, SmartPhone, or Point and Shoot. We will explore styling, light and how to get the best image out of your camera. Discover and learn from professional photographer, John Grover how to make art with your camera. This class is all about the picture. If you bring a DSLR or Mirrorless camera to class, you should have a working knowledge of that camera. Instruction on how to operate your DSLR or Mirrorless camera is covered in the beginning class.

Watercolor is a beautiful, accessible and fun medium. Join us in this introductory class where you will learn the fundamentals of working in watercolor. You will create transparent washes, practice glazing techniques, color mixing and capturing light and shadow. No previous experience necessary. Come prepared to paint on the first day, bring tubes of red, yellow and blue watercolor paint and a pad of 140 lb. coldpress watercolor paper.
