Advising
- The faculty will review each advisee’s transcript for course completion and program progression. Each semester, the assigned nursing faculty will enter education plans into self-service before the start of registration. A student may request an advising meeting at any time. However, unless there is a concern for program progression, the advisor may not meet face-to-face each semester.
- In the final semester, the course faculty and School of Nursing administrator will assist each student with the graduation application process. A degree will only be awarded after submission of the graduation application.
- Any student who withdraws or fails a general education course is required to notify the nursing advisor.
- In the first semester, the nursing mentor may be the nursing advisor. After the first semester, the nursing academic adviser may vary throughout the program.
