A-B Tech nursing courses may include a portion of the content that is delivered online by virtual technology. Virtual learning expectations are the same as face-to-face. The following are additional virtual learning expectations:
- Dedicate the same amount of time to virtual learning. Manage your time and avoid distractions. Create a learning environment that supports active learning and effective studying.
- Communication is crucial to online success. It is important to maintain clear and frequent communication with your course instructor(s). If an issue arises during an assessment (ex. An exam) notify the instructor immediately via email or as stated in the course syllabus.
- If an assignment or assessment requires additional software, plan to install and familiarize yourself with the software before the due date.
- Timeliness and completing assignments/assessments are important. In some circumstances, there may be an option for makeup.
