Continuing Education Registration FAQ

If you need to reset your A-B Tech password, please visit the Password Reset page or email helpdesk@abtech.edu.

Do not attempt to change your mailing address using Continuing Education Online Registration. This software uses the information you enter to select your computer record. Submit the Continuing Education Name and Address Change form to have your address changed, allow time for the Continuing Education Registration Office to make the change for you, then go to Continuing Education Registration to register using your new address. Another option is to go ahead and register, using your old address information, then submit the Continuing Education Student Enrollment/Update Form to have your address updated.

It is no longer necessary to submit an online application before submitting your first registration for a Continuing Education class. If you are a new student at A-B Tech, your computer record will be created automatically. Be careful to enter your personal information accurately, since it will be stored in your record. . If you already have a student record with A-B Tech, your record will be selected based on the name, address, and birth date information you enter. If you have questions call the Continuing Education Office at (828) 398-7903.

Continuing Education Online Registration uses the following information to create an online account: your name, your date of birth, your mailing address including county of residence, your telephone number, and your email address. If you already have a student record with A-B Tech this same information is used to identify your record.

No, just as you are two different students you will need to have two different accounts.

Yes, if the class description states that participants must register. Having students pre-register for a free class helps the class coordinator determine seating capacity and facility usage. In addition, there may be a minimum number of participants required and having students pre-register for the class provides the instructor with this information.

Complete a Continuing Education Registration form and have your Employer email us the completed form with their contact information.

If you are a current curriculum student you will need to maintain an A-B Tech e-mail address as your main e-mail contact. You will be able to select an alternate e-mail address to send payment receipts to if you prefer. How to access your A-B Tech email.

Continuing Education course offerings are designed for adult learners. In special cases, 16 and 17 year-olds will be considered when they obtain the required permissions and signatures on the College’s Minor Permission Form before attending class. Students under the age of 16 are not permitted to attend class. Please contact our Continuing Education Registration Office at (828) 398-7903 for further details.

Your A-B Tech student ID is printed under your name in the top left corner of any Continuing Education class receipt. If you cannot locate a receipt, please contact our Continuing Education Registration Office to receive your Web Advisor Student ID #.
