The 11th Annual Hi Technology Impact Conference (Hi-Tec) was held in St. Louis in July. Computer Instructor and NSF Grant Leader Pamela Silvers served as chair of this national conference attended by over 530 people.

Culinary Student Henry Sink worked with Chris Moore, Executive Chef of the Stable Café, to win first place at the Cajun Cook Off presented by Asheville Mardi Gras. Henry started with Biltmore as a Culinary Extern and was hired following completion of his internship at Stable Café.
