The Good Things for Young Children Summer Institute held a two-day workshop at A-B Tech. There were 54 educators from the region, including teachers from Asheville City and Buncombe County Schools. The participants were teachers and teacher assistants of pre-k and K classrooms.
A-B Tech won the Workforce Development Award from the Community Colleges of Appalachia for the UpSkill WNC program due to the impact the program is having in Buncombe County and Madison County.
