This course provides a basic study of the structure and function of the human body and medical terminology relevant to medical laboratory technology. Emphasis is placed on the structure and function of cells, tissues, human organ systems, and related terminology. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of fundamental anatomy and physiology principles and the application of terminology.
