This course covers the developing embryo from conception to the end of the eighth week. Emphasis is placed on the day-to-day development of the embryo and the timing of errors of development that cause anomalies. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of embryology and errors of development occurring in the embryo.
