2026 New Student Welcome Day
Event description
Join us on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, for A-B Tech's 2026 New Student Welcome Day!
- Get connected and prepared before Fall classes start on August 24.
- Apply for the Next NC Scholarship to get Free Tuition!
- Get started with your Financial Aid Application
- Tour the campus and find out where your classes are located (tours will be offered every 30 minutes).
- Visit the A-B Tech Bookstore
- Meet with faculty and advisors
- Pick up your Student ID Card (you must complete the form and submit your photo by July 24 at Student ID Cards).
- Attend a 30-minute Optional Basics Workshop on Word, OneDrive, and Outlook (The optional Workshop will be offered every hour).
Our advisors and student support staff will help you submit transcripts and financial aid documents, complete your FAFSA and apply for the Next NC Scholarship, schedule testing or orientation dates, and get your student ID and parking sticker.
- When: Tuesday, August 4, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Where: Bailey Student Services Center on the A-B Tech Asheville Campus
