A-B Tech Community College in partnership with Goodwill Industries of Northwest NC will have a Nurse Aide training information session from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at the Goodwill Career Center, 1616 Patton Ave., Asheville.
For those looking to make a career change into the medical field, a great first step is obtaining a Certified Nurse Aide I (CNA I) through A-B Tech with classes offered at Goodwill. Participants will learn about job opportunities for graduates, how to register, assistance with funding, books and equipment needed, and other information. Light refreshments will be provided.
