In October, 48 volunteers from A-B Tech (staff, faculty, and Transitional Studies students) participated in 5 Days of Impact projects in and around Asheville, contributing 144 hours of service to our local community organizations.
A special shout out goes to Christine Schmidt and Daphne Carson who both participated in two projects (as well as each leading a project). Kevin Mills and Anna Szymanski also deserve a special thank you for taking on the lead volunteer role for their projects. Laura Haire was kind enough to take over the distribution of the project T-shirts from the Student Support desk in Bailey. We couldn’t have accomplished this without such great teamwork.
