WebAdvisor Password Information

You can log into WebAdvisor using your A-B Tech username and password.

Initial Password

Curriculum Students

Your initial A-B Tech password is your date of birth in this format: MMDDYY. Please note that leading zeroes should be included, e.g. June = 06, the fifth day of the month = 05, and the year 2001 = 01.

Example: If your date of birth were June 6, 1995, your initial password would be 060695.

Continuing Education and Workforce Development Students

New Students

If you submitted your first registration on or after February 9, 2018, your initial password is a randomly generated password assigned by the registration system. It is highly recommended that you change your password using the instructions below.

Returning students

If you have a WebAdvisor account created before February 9, 2018, the initial password was your date of birth as described for curriculum students above. If your password is still your initial password, you will be required to change it before you can access WebAdvisor.

Change Your Password

You should immediately change your A-B Tech password from its default! There are two steps to changing your password:

  1. Enroll at Microsoft 365 by adding contact information or linking an authenticator app to your account.
  2. Change your password through Microsoft 365.

Visit the Password Reset page to begin. View the Tutorial: "How to Change Your Password" page on InfoBase for more information.

Forgotten Password

If you have already enrolled in Microsoft 365, you can reset your password using the Microsoft Online Password Reset site. Enter your A-B Tech email address when asked for your User ID. If you are told that you cannot change your password and that you should contact your system administrator, you are not enrolled.

If you have not already enrolled at Microsoft 365, please contact the HelpDesk.
